EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PERSONNEL

for the 

2025 SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAM FOR
KINDERGARTEN TO GRADE 2

July 2 to August 1, 2025
8:00 am to 1:00 pm

The Summer Learning Program is an educational half-day program held during the month of July. The program is offered to RCDSB students who require support in literacy and numeracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
● A minimum two year community college diploma in the social services field (e.g. DSW, CYW, SSW), or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the RCDSB.
● Proven ability to thrive and work in a team environment.

CANDIDATES WILL:
 ● Support students in the development of literacy and numeracy skills.
● Provide support to students and educational staff within the program.
● Communicate with and engage parents in the learning process.

HOURS/RATE OF PAY:
● Approximately 100 hours.
● $22.49/hour.

Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in RCDSB Administrative Procedures.  Program employment is conditional on Summer Learning Site enrolment, confirmed after the first day of the program.
