Maintaining clean, sanitary condition in assigned areas as directed according to established standards.
Performing deep cleaning in resident rooms, washrooms, dining rooms and common areas including beds, nightstands, toilets, sinks, floors and other resident room furniture and items
Sweep and mop and clean office and nursing station areas including desktop surfaces including telephones, photocopiers, computers, equipment, etc.
On feet for majority of shift
Pushing, pulling and lifting as required.
May have to stand on step ladders to reach high places
Subject to reaction from heavy dust or housekeeping disinfectant solutions
Exposed regularly to infection when entering resident rooms
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Where required
Utilize the 4 moments of hand hygiene as per policy and education
