Duration: (November 3, 2025 to April 5, 2026)
2025 Salary Grid 3: $28.87 - $34.36/Hr.
What we offer:

Training: Our Public Works division offers paid training: One-Man Snow Plow Operator and we cover the cost of PPE.
Fleet: Our Public Works Division takes great pride in having a tandem fleet of well-maintained vehicles to serve the residents of Leeds and Grenville.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to and under the direction of the Patrol Supervisor, the Equipment Operator II position will be responsible for operating several types of equipment and performing a variety of tasks related to the operation and maintenance of the County Roads Systems.

Activity 1: Road Maintenance & Construction (approximately 40%)
Activity 2: Seasonal Activities (approximately 50%)
Activity 3: Administration & Shop Maintenance (approximately 10%)
Other related duties, as requested and required.
