The Opportunity

We are looking to hire an Applications Specialist to join our busy Applications Team for a 12 month contract, with the possibility of renewal. Reporting to the Applications Manager, the Applications Specialist is responsible for processing documents, organizing and submitting students’ university applications, managing deadlines, and handling all application-related communication with our university partners. 

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all deadlines and applications are managed efficiently and that communication with our university partners is timely and well-maintained.

• Data entry: Ability to input, update, and manage multiple accounts quickly and accurately.
• Prioritization: Skills to determine what tasks are most important and complete them efficiently and on time.
• Organizational skills: Strong attention to detail; ability to multitask, work independently, meet deadlines, problem-solve, and stay composed under pressure.
• Written communication: Clear, professional writing skills for emails, reports, procedures, and templates for applicants, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Comfortable adjusting to change, learning quickly, and staying positive in new or uncertain situations.
• Critical analysis: Ability to evaluate information, consider multiple perspectives, and make well-reasoned decisions.
• Computer proficiency: Experience with common applications such as Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook; CRM experience is an asset.
