We are looking to hire an Applications Specialist to join our busy Applications Team. Working under the supervision of the Applications Manager, the Applications Specialist is responsible for processing documents, organizing and submitting students’ university applications, and managing all application-related university communication. 


The primary objective of this role is to ensure that OzTREKK applicants are provided clear and concise messaging in relation to their university applications and that communication with our university partners is managed and maintained.


The successful candidate must be capable of collaborating, as the Applications Team work together to prioritize work according to workload, time of year, target goals, and special projects. The right candidate for this role
should be a forward-thinker with good judgement and intuition. Proficiency with various computer applications, including the basics: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. is an asset. 
 


They should also have the following qualities:   

  • Problem solving: A candidate for this position must have the ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities 
  • Time management: Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced environment that requires strong sense of urgency in email response time.  
  • Organizational skills: A keen eye for detail and highly organized. They will have the ability to multitask, prioritize independently and meet deadlines, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and demonstrate composure in times of uncertainty and stress.
