Production Manager


In this role, the Production Managers are the hands-on leaders of our restaurant production team. They are responsible for all day-to-day operations with regards to ordering, inventories, production and tracking. They are responsible in bringing the family’s strong values to life through all touch points, running profitable restaurants, ensuring meticulous facilities and compliance with all safety, labour and sanitation regulations. Through consistent execution of these duties, Production Managers aggressively grow same store sales through cost controls.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Human Resources

  • Recruit and hire production team members
  • Train and supervise production staff according to the company’s established Program
  • Consult on employee issues and manage as necessary
  • Provides coaching, training and feedback to production staff
  • Be knowledgeable in provincial Employment Standards and Human Rights and that the standards are being met


Health and Safety

  • Maintain the building and premise in a meticulous and 1st class manner
  • Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Maintain safe working conditions
  • Regular equipment maintenance and checks

Operations

  • Order supplies to maintain product availability
  • Executes and champions all policies, procedures and systems
  • Foster tenure by maintaining a respectful and fun work environment
  • Grow profitability controlling food and paper waste
  • Communicates deliverables with all production team members
  • Delivers, supports and exceeds assigned Key Performances Indicators
  • Conduct regular store walk-thru’s of the kitchen and storage area
  • Regular inventory checks
  • Ensure recipes and preparation are followed
  • Knowledgeable in products and promotions
  • Knowledge of sales


Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years’ experience in the restaurant industry in production
  • 2+ years’ experience as Assistant Manager or above
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, 24/7 environment
  • Exceptional integrity and trust
